The Global Leadership Initiative in Malnutrition (GLIM) was created in 2016 to reach consensus on a malnutrition diagnostic framework that can be used in all practice settings, especially in those areas where nutrition expertise is limited. In 2019, the consensus framework was published and leadership activities surrounding the GLIM approach continue. Dissemination of key GLM activities to both US and international attendees is essential to broaden understanding of how to use the GLIM framework by itself as well as with other nutrition assessment methodologies including the Academy/ASPEN adult malnutrition indicators. Feedback from attendees will enhance the ongoing work of the GLIM Leadership Groups.
