Explore Adagio Health’s implementation of a SNAP-Ed Policy, Systems, and Environment (PSE) initiative to promote acceptance and usage of farmer’s market nutrition program (FMNP) benefits among eligible populations while highlighting local, seasonal produce via novel produce distribution methods in Western Pennsylvania.
Learn about successful collaboration between multiple food and nutrition assistance programs, including WIC, SNAP-Ed, and FMNP, community-based organizations and local growers to engage and enhance partnerships that better serve eligible populations. Attendees learn about successes and lessons learned from Adagio Health's implementation over the 2022, 2023 and 2024 FMNP seasons as they relate to reducing barriers in FMNP benefit utilization, increasing participant access to fresh produce and nutrition education, and supporting local agriculture.
