The Instructor's Resource Kit is available by request exclusively to dietetics educators.
The Instructor Resource Kit is comprised of these key parts:
- The Instructor's Resource Manual provides practical advice for implementing Nutrition & Diagnosis-Related Care in the classroom setting, throughout a dietetics internship, or with practicing registered dietitian nutritionists. The Resource Manual lists examples of how to use the readiness assessment questions and activities with these learning groups, and provides example curriculums for each. The Resource Manual provides a description of each activity in every section, as well as an overview of the textbook Appendixes.
- Teaching resources are provided in electronic folders divided into 16 sections to match the layout of the textbook. Each section contains readiness assessment questions, as well as a mix of case studies and learning activities (discussion, interprofessional, menu planning and food science, and tours and facility knowledge). All resources can be edited to customize for your course or teaching scenario.
- The included image bank contains over 120 images from the textbook that can be incorporated into PowerPoint slides.
